string, number, message

every time its a message we have to put it to the string value ["hello", "hi" ] every time its number we just put the number [ 12, 12, 56] without a string every time booleans [true, false]

Please let me know if I am wrong

Hi Dennis!

I'm guessing that you're referring to the correct syntax when referencing different data types in JavaScript. If that is the case, then you are correct! To reiterate, the proper syntax would be:

  • STRING | "Here are characters that otherwise would not be interpreted by JS."
    • Quotation marks are always necessary
    • Can be any combination of numbers, letters, or symbols
  • NUMBER | 56 75 2006 1
    • No quotation marks
    • Must consist of only numbers
  • BOOLEAN true false
    • No quotation marks
    • Must be either true or false
