Stuck on palprime checker challenge

Hello, I am on the 4th part of the challenge and it is asking me to:

PalprimeChecker objects have a property called number. This task has two parts. First, assign that property a value of 17. Second, remove the two hash signs (##) in the first echo statement and instead concatenate the value of this number property. (Be sure to preserve the space after the two hash signs by concatenating a space after the number.)

Here is my code:

<?php

include('class.palprimechecker.php'); $checker = new PalprimeChecker(); $PalprimeChecker->number = 17;

echo "The number " . PalprimeChecker->number . " "; echo "(is|is not)"; echo " a palprime.";

?>

I have assigned the $PalprimeChecker->number = 17; and I have used concetenation as for the 2nd part. However, I am still getting a bummer message. How can i fix this? Thank you.

I'm not familiar with this challenge, but here's what I think you're doing wrong:

  1. $checker is being initialized properly, but then you're not using this variable again.
  2. You're using the class name instead of your variable name when assigning the number property. It should be: $checker->number = 17;
  3. You can then just use your variable name in the first echo statement: echo "The number " . $checker . " ";

Hi Chris,

Thank for the suggestion but I am still doing something wrong.

Passed it. Thanks!
