Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types Use .split() and .join()

Stuck on second line

I am lost as to what I am doing wrong on the seond line, please assist?

banana.py
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = "(,".split"(available))"

Hey, your problem comes in a few parts. But don't worry it's an easy fix. You wrote:

sundaes = "(,".split"(available))"

First, you need to remove the quote marks and parentheses from the outside. Like this:

sundaes = ",".split(available)

Secondly, you need to switch the comma out for a semicolon. And lastly switch the available and the ';' 's places. After that your code should work just fine. ;) Hope this helps. :)
