I have a tendency of overthinking these challenges so I tried to solve it in the simplest way I can think of.
I don't quite understand what to do. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
//Show Prompt Window and store value
var fullName = prompt("What is your full name?");
//Select Input with the id of #fullName
$("#fullName").select();
//Insert value in to full name input
$("input").val("fullName");

Treehouse TeacherHi there! You're close, but definitely overthinking this. This can all be done on one line of code. Take a look:
$("#fullName").val(fullName);
Here we select the id #fullname
then run the .val
method which takes one parameter and that's the value to be assigned. So we pass in the value of the fullName
variable already declared.
Hope this helps!
