app.js
'use strict';

var express = require('express'),
  posts = require('./mock/posts.json');

var app = express();

app.set('view engine', 'jade');
app.set('views', __dirname + '/templates')

app.get('/', function(req, res){
  res.render('post', {post: post});

});

app.listen(3000, function() {
  console.log("The frontend server is running on port 3000!");

Oh so close! Take a look:

app.get('/', function(req, res){
  res.render('main', {posts: posts})
});

edited for additional clarification If you change the part that you did in the first step from main, task one stops passing and the whole thing fails. And note that you have written {post: post}... instead of the plural form which is required by the challenge. {posts: posts}.

thank you much been on this for a while keep coming back ....you were a great help!!
