2,599 PointsSuggestion for what next.
I just completed the "How to make a website" course. As known there was a lot of information to remember everything in one class.
- Are there any sites that provide practice material to create a mock website? Or do I just have to create something from scratch?
2.What is suggested to learn next to kept on a steady track and develop more experience and knowledge?
3.At which point can one seek to work for actual income and are there any trustworthy places one can be accepted as a beginner? Even if low paid I am more interested in developing a portfolio for future success.
4.The biggest issue I had with this class is how does one determine padding, border-widths, margins, and any CSS rule? Is it something you just play with until you like what you see?
5.Lastly do I just use workspace to type my codes or what other options are there for working on developing a website.
I am sorry if I am asking too much or if something was already answered in what I have learned. Sure went through a lot of info and at the moment it is all overwhelming. I am really enjoying all this and look forward to learning even more. I work as a firefighter/paramedic and one of my goals is to create an app for our protocols and procedures.
Thanks again in advance.

The internet, as well as Treehouse, is filled with useful information that will help you become a better designer/developer.
Treehouse and the internet as a whole has a lot of material that will teach you more about web design. If you are interested in this field of work, you will never stop learning.
You could try for an internship someplace, if you want. If you want to start making money, create a portfolio. Just keep building sites. Find friends or families with businesses that don't have a website and create them one. I found this is an easy way to get inspired with a site.
Yes, you play with a layout till it feels right to you. Everyone has their own way of doing things. Find yours. It will take practice. Also, look at other websites to get ideas.
As mentioned in the answer above, look around on the internet and find a suitable application for you. It may take a couple of tries, but you will find one that fits your needs.

11,454 Points"How to make a Website" course is realy only a introduction to HTML and CSS. I think that you shlould take the whole "Web Design" track here in teamtreehouse. (How to make a Website is 1st lesson only). You will learn about all CSS basics in next course in track. So I think that you should continue there.
Workspaces are really nice and I am using it a lot. Of course for some off-line development you can download some other editors to your pc. Try use google to find someting like "Best HTML Editors" and I am sure that you find something useful.
