Sometimes I am getting stuck on a question in an activity. It seems as there is only an error message that pops up and the help is very limited. I can't move forward without getting it correct. Trawling through questions in the community seems a little much as every time you go into the community and then return back to the activity all the code is lost and you are starting from the first question again. Am I missing something here? Some easier help??
Thanks

3,089 PointsThanks Jared. It's a little poor I think, it would be good if there was an option of seeing the answer so you could work through it.

Treehouse Moderator 32,303 PointsI think the reason you're not just given the answers is because everything at Treehouse uses a points system to track progress.
The community is here to help though, there's no shame in asking. If you're worried about losing your code, I'd suggest copying and pasting it somewhere while you try to figure it out (maybe even using a new Workspace).
If you paste in code that is the 'answer' for multiple parts of a code challenge, it should still work, because of the incremental nature of the code challenges.
jared eiseman's advice is good, I'd also recommend opening the previous video in a new/separate tab, since most code challenges match the code seen in the videos quite closely.

29,023 PointsI have found some success when I run into this problem in opening a new tab and googling something resembling the issue. May not be able to find an answer specifically tailored to the activity itself, but sometimes finding some example code of what I'm trying to do is enough to jog the memory so to speak.
