Swift 2.0 vs Swift 1.0 vs Obj-C

Ok, so let me throw a question out to everyone. I can see how Swift 2.0 is just an "updated" version of the original Swift, and by going through the original Swift track all the information is still very relevant. But what about the Objective C track? Is it worth the time to go through the track?

Yes! definitely! Objective-C, even though it is slowly being phased out by Apple and the development community, it is very much here to stay for now. There are a lot, if not most, of the 3rd party libraries which are developed using Objective-C, also IRL, chances are big that if you are going to work in iOS Dev, you will have to maintain / update / an app which was initially written in Objective-C.

Also, even though it is not that much advertised, Objective-C is still begin updated by Apple, that's why even Treehouse has a planned updated track.

For a beginner, I believe that the best approach would be to study Swift and, after you finish the currently available track, switch to Obj-C 'till Swift gets updated and so on.

Best of luck and KEEP AT IT!
