Courses Plus Student 5,790 Pointsswift 3 or swift 2?
Hi, so apple just released the swift 3, just wondering if i should start learning swift 2 or wait until the course for swift 3 to come out?

24,657 PointsHi! I would start learning swift 2 and then when they do a workshop or a course about whats changed youll find it easier to transition to swift 3! Because the language fundamentals are going to be the same so why not learn them now with the wealth of courses you can learn from and then just top up your knowledge of swift 3 when they release courses for it? Don't wait for it, start learning now and just pick up the extra bits later! well, thats what I am doing!

9,730 Pointsi agree, the important thing is to jump into a programming language. Chances are you will be better equipped to understand the concepts application once its used at various applications. Like most prototypes or versions it is best to wait for the bugs to sort out and then jump into the product.
