I am stumped on the code challenge! I am on : Challenge Task 2 0f 2 and am stumped on Step 2. I a doing exactly what they say but I am confused on the syntax that I am using I just can't seem to get it right

That's not how you do string interpolation! I recommend re-watching this video about it from Swift 2 basics.
You just need to get rid of some quotation marks:
// Enter your code below
let firstValue = 2
let secondValue = 4
let product = firstValue * secondValue
let output = "The product of \(firstValue) times \(secondValue) is \(product)"
