Switching tracks :P

Hello everyone, I just finished the "Making a website" course and learned so much. Going into treehouse I was focused on being a web developer. But, the more I read about this awesome thing called pentesting and pretty much anything about cyber security, the more I want to learn python and C++. At the same time, I want to continue learning HTML for it's obvious benefits in understanding the web as a whole. So, I guess my question is: would it be advisable to keep learning HTML or focus on python and C++ as I slide into the mindset of an ethical hacker?

If you want to get into hacking, you don't need to know all the ins and outs of HTML. The course you took teaches you enough about that. So since it seems you want to get into Python and C++, dive right in!

Agreed.
