syntax?

I believe the code should be OK

firedoor.py
import sys
answer = input('Do you want to start the movie? ')
if answer != "n" and answer != "N":
    print("Enjoy the show!")
          else:
          sys.exit

There are two issues with the code you posted:

  • The indentation is wrong. The else statement should always line up with the corresponding if statement.
  • You missed the () after sys.exit.
import sys
answer = input('Do you want to start the movie? ')
if answer != "n" and answer != "N":
    print("Enjoy the show!")
else:
    sys.exit()
