iOS Swift Closures Functions as First Class Citizens Higher Order Functions

Syntax confusion

func differenceBetweenNumbers(a: Int, b:Int) -> (Int) {

differenceBetweenNumbers has two parameters, a and b. Why is Int, which is I guess return type, in parentheses?
