Syntax is confusing

-(void)setCenter:(NSArray*)center radius:(float)radius;

which instance variable is this associated with?

its associated with both the center and radius variables. its a method that sets both variables in one method call which is a bit easier than calling the setter for center and then calling the setter for radius. it just does all in one go.

thanks! according to the syntax: -(type)instancemethodWithParam1:(Param1type)param1Name andParam2(Param2Type)param2Name

the minus is the instance level type is 'void' and instance method is 'set'?

yes the minus means its an instance method. Class methods use the plus sign.
