SyntaxError: self.current_score[1] + = 1

I am trying to increase the index of self.current_score depending on whether Player is 1 or 2. However, I keep getting a syntax error. I don't understand why.

game.py
class Game:
  def __init__(self):
    self.current_score = [0, 0]

  def  score(self, player):
    if player == 1:
        self.current_score[0] += 1
    elif player == 2:
        self.current_score[1] + = 1

Hi there! It's just a typo! You have a runaway space between the + and = sign on this line:

self.current_score[1] + = 1

That should be:

self.current_score[1] += 1

Good luck! :sparkles:
