My tacocat app is passing app_tests.py and runs without issue, but for some reason always has the same error from test_logged_out_menu when I try to check it within the challenge. It complains that the user is logged out but that it can't find the 'sign up' text from the menu:
[(<main.UserViewsTestCase testMethod=test_logged_out_menu>, 'Traceback (most recent call last):\n File "", line 126, in test_logged_out_menu\nAssertionError: \'sign up\' not found
I expected there's something wrong with the logout but that code is relatively simple, also in that case I would expect test_logout() to fail first. layout.html works and matches what I see some others posting here. What am I missing here?

Treehouse Moderator 68,457 PointsThe issue is in the template if
conditional for the logged in/out menu. On some* systems, is_authenticated
method must be called with parens:
{% if current_user.is_authenticated() %}
After adding the parens to your layout.html
file, your code passes the challenge! Congratulations!! Wear the Tacocat Badge proudly!!!
