Treehouse TeacherHi there! First, the variable for pleaseEnableParagraph is already set up by the challenge. There's no need to declare it again and then try to assign the result of removing a child element. Also, removeChild is always enacted on the parentNode so you have to specify that first. Take a look:
pleaseEnableParagraph.parentNode.removeChild(pleaseEnableParagraph);
