I dont know why this happens
var wholesalePrice = 5.45;
var retailPrice = 9.99;
var quantity = 47;
var salesTotal= retailPrice*quantity;
var profit= salesTotal-wholesales;
var profit=profit*quantity;

4,315 PointsMariano - you might need to re-watch the videos and make sure your understanding is 100% correct - the code should be a follows:
var wholesalePrice = 5.45;
var retailPrice = 9.99;
var quantity = 47;
var salesTotal = retailPrice * quantity;
var profit = salesTotal - wholesalePrice * quantity;
var profitPerUnit = profit / quantity;
Maybe you just need to double read the questions at each stage.

4,315 PointsMariano you are creating a new variable for profit twice in your code - the last line of code probably doesn't need the 'var' keyword before it i.e. profit = profit * quantity - try that maybe.
