Task 1 is not passing

Hello,

I am doing challenge tasks but I keep getting the "Oops! It looks like Task 1 is no longer passing" alert. Although I have returned 4x to the task 1 and got the "Well done" sign, the next task keeps giving me the "Task 1 is no longer..."

What am I doing wrong?

Thank you very much for the help! :D

Can you let us know what task one is asking you to do?

I did notice something below in the coding. In your first anchor element, there is space you have to close up between < and a. And another detail that I did notice in the second anchor element, was that I see one double quote before the facebook url, but there is no double quote after the url. Hope that helps out!

Of course, Stephen :D! The task one says- "Inside the <footer> element, add the images facebook-wrap.png and twitter-wrap.png from inside the img folder. Be sure to include an appropriate alternate attribute for each. Don’t link them yet!" After doing it- I get the green "Well done", but after moving on to the next on- it keeps telling me that the first one is wrong... :(

I did notice something wrong with the coding for what you have below though. You have a little bit of spacing you want to close up right before the double quotes for you anchor link in the footer portion.

<a href= "https//facebook.com> <img src="img/facebook-wrap.png" alt="Facebook logo"> </a>

I have corrected it, but still nothing...
