I am so lost. Please, I am so close to giving up..

13,515 PointsIn order to do this, you simply need to use the greeting function, which takes a String as it's parameter. So, the string "Tom" passed to the greeting function would look like this:
var result = greeting("Tom")

1,713 PointsNever mind, for some reason it worked after I changed the return values to (greeting,language) instead of (language,greeting). But tuples are hard, I can't really figure it out. I am hoping that it will click eventually.
