I can't understand the question well enough to know if I know how to answer it or not:) Probably not.
<?php
$flavor ="chocolate";
echo "<p>Your favorite flavor of ice cream is ";
echo $flavor;
echo ".</p>";
if $flavor == "cookie dough" {
echo "<p>Hal's favorite flavor is cookie dough, also!</p>";
}
?>

13,483 PointsHmm, not too sure why your code doesn't work. Maybe you NEED the brackets around an IF statement, I'm really not sure. Anyway, here's my code that works:
<?php
$flavor = "chocolate";
echo "<p>Your favorite flavor of ice cream is ";
echo $flavor;
echo ".</p>";
if($flavor == "cookie dough") echo "<p>Hal's favorite flavor is cookie dough, also!</p>";
?>
It's basically the same as yours however it's formatted a bit differently. Also, I checked and this does pass, so if it doesn't on your end there must be a bug.
