task one is no longer passing

hi im doing the code challenge. it accepts my code and but when i enter the code for question 2 it keeps telling me that task one is no longer passing.

Challenge Task 1 of 4

Use the :nth-child pseudo-class to target the even list items only. Set the color to white and the background color to black.

Hi Melissa,

It looks as though you're replacing the first task instead of adding to it. If it helps, this works for me:

/* Write your CSS below */
li:nth-child(even){
  background: black;
  color: white;
}

li:nth-child(3n){
  background: #FF6347;
}
