Techdegree project: Wrong version assessed

Hi there, I resubmitted my first project in the front end development tech degree. I did, absolutely did, run everything through HTML and CSS validators before I committed the changes and resubmitted. In fact , the first time I used the validators, a couple of HTML issues came up and I sorted them. Then I committed the changes and resubmitted. My GitHub clearly says that there are no uncommitted changes. Just to make sure, I have re-checked the same files in the validators and sure enough, there is no error. However, I am now told that exactly those HTML issues that I did fix, still need fixing. But they are fixed. Now I cannot even resubmit because if I did, I would resubmit exactly the same as before. I think the wrong version must have been assessed. The validators confirm that there is nothing wrong with my code. Here's the GitHub https://github.com/piccianeri/portfolio_update_v1 Can anyone help? it's a bit frustrating that there isn't a direct way of doing this for Techdegree students. Having to wait for another day is quite boring. Thank you!

I take it back – of course there is a Slack channel for that. Please ignore my comment! It got resolved on Slack. Thank you!
