As a newbie I am loving Workspaces and all the little benefits that come with it e.g. predictions, colour view, drag/drop files etc. The only downside I see at this stage is that it requires an internet connection to use. Are there any offline text-editors that this is perhaps based on? Or at least very similar? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

65,469 PointsI use Sublime Text (70$ but unlimited free trial) and you can find it on www.sublimetext.com. There are others to choose from, but I will say Sublime Text is the most popular.
Hope it helps! ~xela888

65,469 PointsNo problem, but if you want a different text editor, you could try Brackets (free).

29,248 PointsI've been using the Atom editor (open-source & free) and it's very similar to the workspaces (https://atom.io/). I've also enjoyed working with Notepad++ in the past.
