Text issue

I have an issue with the long text! when I write a long text it doesn't show the entire text, it goes off the screen! I don't know why it doesn't make the text two lines instead of cutting the text? any idea?

What happens is that you used the Plain TextView. Use the normal TextView, in the Toolbox. Not the "Plain Textview", but the "TextView".

It is probably because you didn't assign any values for the width and length. If you set the values to match_parent and not wrap_content I think you should be good to go

unfortunately, that dosen't solve the problem! I really don't know what's the matter with it. it is working perfectly in the video and i just followed the exact Instructions!! but thank you anyway

please assign the proper width and height width must be match_parent and reduce text size if it is increasing along with that if even its not fitting into screen add scroller into it , this probably only occur when there is so much content in your screen .
