44,638 PointsThanks Huston!
Huston,
I'm barely into this class, and you're already explaining things I couldn't find any answers to anywhere else. The class is brilliant so far. Thanks a lot!

Treehouse Moderator 91,253 PointsI'm looking forward to taking this too. :) I never really took to the previous Angular course as it was a really high level look at Anglular. I've not touched it yet but I'm looking forward to it and hearing more feedback about it :)

4,043 PointsOoooo I am getting very excited. Although I also took the previous class and it was super in-depth and I didn't really catch on. Hopefully I get some time this weekend to proper dig in.

Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree Student 23,052 PointsI didn't like previous Angular class either. It lost me from the beginning. I was so excited to see this course, and Huston is my favorite javascript teacher so far. I learned a lot from his Gulp course.

9,659 PointsI've been waiting for this class as well. The past couple of weeks I've been going through various tutorials I found online, but feeling swamped not long after I started.
Already Huston is explaining how to create custom directives and how to use them, so I'm pretty psyched. I'm getting that extra bit of detail I think I needed. I hope the explanation of scope gives me that same feeling. The things I've read online seemed to gloss over the concept.

10,896 PointsLiking this course so far also, but I have to wonder if I should be learning this instead of Angular 2 at this point in time. Like they say though, it's better to know than to not know. I bet a lot of companies are still using Angular. So, what the heck, why not?

Courses Plus Student 5,891 PointsYeah - I wondered the same thing since Angular 2 is a complete re-write rather than an update. I concluded that knowing a little about Angular 1 (angularjs.org) would be helpful as I learn Angular 2 (angular.io).

44,638 PointsI took the previous one and a class on codeschool, then worked on a practice project of my own, so I know some of the pitfalls that I've seen. I'll post some feedback here for you as I take the course, but so far it's great.
