The message in the final echo command only makes sense if your favorite flavor is the same as Hal's. Add a conditional around that final echo command that checks if the flavor variable has a value of "cookie dough." (Remember to choose carefully between using a single equal sign and a double equal sign.<?php $flavor="strawberry"; echo $flavor; echo "
Your favorite flavor of ice cream is "; echo "vanilla"; echo ".
"; $flavor='cookie dough'; if (Hal's=="cookie dough"){ echo "
Hal's favorite flavor is cookie dough, also!
"; } ?>

Hi Terrance,

(Hal's=="cookie dough") In the condition "Hal's" won't be accepted as it's just plain text. Also, you'll need different variable names for you and Hal's flavor.

Try this.

$myFlavor = "cookie dough";
$halsFlavor = "cookie dough";

echo "
Your favorite flavor of ice cream is" . $myFlavor . ".
";
if($halsFlavor == "cookie dough"){
     echo "
Hal's favorit flavor is " . $halsFlavor . " also!
";
}
