6,395 PointsThe newYork variable contains an object, but the population is wrong. Add a line of code that sets the population proper
it keeps saying error
var newYork = {
population: 100,
latitude: '40.7127 N',
longitude: '74.0059 W'
};
var population
population.shift=('8.406e6');

newYork.population = 8.406e6;

18,705 PointsHi Eukael,
The way you assign a new property to a key, is by referencing the variable followed by the key. I.e:
var newYork = {
population: 100,
latitude: '40.7127 N',
longitude: '74.0059 W'
};
newYork.population = 8.406e6;
