The newYork variable contains an object, but the population is wrong. Add a line of code that sets the population proper

To change the value of a property, you can use dot notation to access the property and then assign the new population value like this:

newYork.population = 8.406e6;

Hi Eukael,

The way you assign a new property to a key, is by referencing the variable followed by the key. I.e:

var newYork = {
  population: 100, 
  latitude: '40.7127 N',
  longitude: '74.0059 W'
};

newYork.population = 8.406e6;
