CSS

the reason for an "disabled button

Im trying to understand the purpose of a disable button in a form? I understand how it works but why even put in your form.

Hi Chanel,

You might need the button to remain inactive until a specific field has been entered or a terms and conditions has been accepted for example. That way the user can't submit the form until the condition has been met.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Rich, yes it does help. As I am learning more about CSS it seems like some of the selectors do the same thing but are just a little more specific than the original one i learned. But, its still good to have an understanding of anything you may run into.
