Treehouse TeacherHi Brittney Payne,
Sorry you're having trouble! I know how frustrating technical issues can be. I'm not sure what the problem is exactly, but I've notified our support team. They work through problems like this everyday, so they should be able to help you very quickly.
All the best, Nick

11,424 PointsThis may sound silly, but have you hovered over the sound level on the actual video to make sure it isn't turned off? I feel like I've done that a few times.. especially on youtube.

838 PointsBrittney Payne, are you currently using Safari? If so, it appears to be an issue with Safari thinking it has support for WebM videos, which, natively it does not. Our Devs have identified an extension which is causing audio trouble. That extension is called Perian. We suggest removing it. To Remove Perian please go to your System Preferences, click "Perian" and then click "Remove Perian".
If you do not have Perian installed you may have installed another Quicktime components application that supports WebM and you'll need to find that and isolate it. You may want to switch browsers. Please let the Support Team know if you have any other questions or concerns! Our direct email is help@teamtreehouse.com
Best,
Elizabeth

39,199 PointsIf I recall correctly, you can work around the issue with Perian by changing your Treehouse playback settings to use Flash instead of HTML5.
