I put the points parameter in my coding method with no errors but it says that i didn't put it in the method can someone please help???

Courses Plus Student 4,219 PointsI think you are reading it wrong. You are returning a Double and it didn't say to return anything. Also, it says to just add the points variable to width and to height, it didn't say to add them together. The way I understood it, I wrote it like this and it worked:
func incrementBy(points:Double) {
self.width += points
self.height += points
}
