In the video he clicks on options in Google Chrome and opens up dev tools, then right clicks in the console and selects an option to show the XML... But it's different than the newer version of chrome. Does anyone know how to get to it?

8,353 PointsIn the upper right corner of the Console window you should see a gear icon. Click that to display the console settings, and in there is a checkbox for "Log XMLHttpRequests"

15,445 PointsI think CTRL + SHIFT + I -> 'Network' -> 'Fetch/XHR' might be what you're looking for.
Also for future reference, After you have covered all of the AJAX tutorials on teamtreehouse.com, you should try looking into the 'axios' library for making front end requests to a server.
