This makes no sense.

I don't understand what I do wrong. Ugh.

struct.swift
struct Expense {
    var description: String
    var amount: Double = 0.0

    init (description: String) {
        self.description = description
    }
func calculateTaxes(percentage: Double) -> Double {
    // add the calculateTaxes method here
    // it should accept only one parameter named 'percentage' of type Double

return (self.amount * (percentage/100))

var item = Expense.description("Josh")
Expense.amount(100)
}
}

struct Expense {
    var description: String
    var amount: Double = 0.0

    init (description: String) {
        self.description = description
    }
    func calculateTaxes(percentage: Double) -> Double {
        return (self.amount * (percentage/100))

    }
}

var item = Expense(description: "Josh")
item.amount = 100

Just a couple small tweaks. Make sure when you are creating the Item variable, it goes outside of your struct. Also, your Expense struct does not have a member named 'amount', rather your instance of Expense does. I hope this helps, and you were really close so don't get frustrated!!! (Less than 2 months of programming so don't hate me if I use the wrong terminology..haha)
