This should be working. I think there's something wrong with the compiler.

As far as I can tell, this should be working. What's going on?

It was unwrapping the optional string for NSDictionary(contentsOfFile: plistPath). I wasn't using Xcode, I was just trying to solve it in the browser.

This solved it:

if let plistPath = NSBundle.mainBundle().pathForResource("CrazyInformation", ofType:"plist") {
    let dictionary = NSDictionary(contentsOfFile: plistPath)
}

What are the error that you are getting ? if anything just clean and Build the project . Then reset the Simulator.
