Transition, Where is the btn class used?

I understand where .active class is being used and changed for the delay of 0,4s but I am having trouble understanding where the btn class is being used for the effect.

Cheers

Hi Cindy,

 <body class="p-x-0" data-spy="scroll" data-target=".navbar" data-offset="100" id="home">
  <!--  nav bar  -->

    <nav class="navbar navbar-dark bg-primary navbar-fixed-top">
      <div class="container">
  <ul class="nav navbar-nav">
    <li class="nav-item">
      <a class="nav-link" href="#home">Home <span class="sr-only">(current)</span></a>
    </li>
    <li class="nav-item">
      <a class="nav-link" href="#about">About</a>
    </li>
    <li class="nav-item">
      <a class="nav-link" href="#speaker">Speakers</a>
    </li>
    <li class="nav-item">
      <a class="nav-link" href="#schedule">Schedule</a>
    </li>
  </ul>

Apologise, What I am asking is, Where has the button (btn) class been implemented so that it relates to the nav elements for the transition?
