Treehouse Support Response Time...

Has anyone attempted to contact Treehouse's Support folks? I have sent several emails and gotten no response. Has anyone been able to contact their support folks for a problem resolution?

Please let me know how you managed to get a response…

I once also wrote them and got no response till today. I did't pay much attention to this, as I solved the matter rather quickly, but now it seems like this might be a general issue.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention! I've taken a look at our system and we show you emailed us on April 1st, and I sent you a reply that same day. Unfortunately Treehouse Support emails can be blocked by spam filters. Please be sure to double-check your spam folder for a response from the Treehouse Team! We apologize for the delay. Ok thanks you. As i said this issue wasn't urgent any more, therefore i maybe didn't check the spam.

Don't get me wrong...TeamTreeHouse is awesome. There was just the possibility, that maybe the mails are not getting to their destination. But it seems like those were singulr cases, probably caused by the spamfilter.

I've contacted support twice in my short time at Treehouse. They've responded to me twice in quick time and haven't had a problem with them.

David…this is my concern. Two weeks ago an issue was clearly experienced by several including myself. I made several attempts via forum postings and additionally via direct emails to the only support contact email address provided on the site. I can say that based on what I received for email responses today that an issue does exist with my "workspace" and "it is now being looked at"…as indicated in the response I got "today".

Thomas, we do apologize for any delays in a response. I reached out to you earlier this morning via my personal email when it was made clear that you were not receiving the responses we were sending from help@teamtreehouse.com. I've also reached out to our developers several times about this matter but it's unfortunately been a tricky one to resolve.

We've been doing our best to keep everyone in the loop and we do apologize that we dropped the ball in communications with you. The issue with Workspaces not saving work and not having it appear (at times) should be addressed with the second version of Workspaces. Unfortunately, I don't have an exact timeline as to when that will release but we're banking on soon!

I've had a problem in the past with their customer service. They were offering some sort of GitHub reward as part of the perks a long time ago. Waited a few weeks after signing up to ask what happened next. Left it a week and got no response so sent a message again. Got a reply saying someone would look into it. Week later no further response so asked again. Got told was being sent to someone else to look into and still no response after a week. Repeated a few more times to finally be told I didn't get the perk as they'd oversubscribed it at the time but they were getting some more soon and I'd be on the list. Heard nothing about it and just gave up as as I felt like they were wasting my time.

If they'd told me at the very beginning they'd run out then I wouldn't have been too bothered but a little annoyed in the end that I had to wait over a month to get any kind of explanation.

It nearly put me off re-subscribing but other times they've replied quite quickly to any email that I've sent.

Any delays at the moment might relate to the bank holiday weekend. When did you contact them? I see you posted further information while I was writing that message.

Hey Tony! I'm sorry you had to go back and forth so many times. Any sort of discount and give aways are handled by a select few from our marketing team. I'll be sure to let them know of your post here so they can investigate the matter and touch base with you.

No complaints here.

There was an issue with my account when I first signed up. I signed up through an external site and instead of giving me the 2 week free trial it just put me on a paying account straight away.

I contacted support and asked when the first payment would be taken which was when they informed me of what I had done.

I was told to cancel my account and sign up again to get the free trial. This is what I did and I was all good to go in less than 24 hours.

I cannot say enough good things about Treehouse's support. They have always been timely in their responses when I contact them, and all I needed to do was follow their advice of how to send a question with all of the information that they'll need:

"Shoot us an email at help@teamtreehouse.com with a link and a screenshot."
