Trouble loading pic

I can't get the picture to display on my website. I have instead one of those images that come up if the image doesn't load properly.

Can you post your code so we can check it out?

<!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <meta charset="utf-8"> <title>Jodie Faye Wong | Maths Graduate Programmer</title> </head> <body> <header> <a href="index.html"> <h1>Jodie Faye Wong</h1> <h2>Maths Graduate Programmer</h2> </a> <nav> <ul> <li><a href="index.html">portfolio</a></li> <li><a href="about.html">About</a></li> <li><a href="contac.html">Contact</a></li> </ul>
</nav> </header> <section> <ul> <li> <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt=""> </li> </ul> </section> <footer> <p>© 2014 Jodie Faye Wong.</p> </footer> </body>
</html>

Try wrapping the code you're posting with three backticks (```) before and after so it shows up here (instructions in the Markdown Cheatsheet that's linked below the text box).

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <title>Jodie Faye Wong | Maths Graduate Programmer</title>
  </head>
  <body>
    <header>
      <a href="index.html">
        <h1>Jodie Faye Wong</h1>
        <h2>Maths Graduate Programmer</h2>
      </a>
      <nav>
        <ul>
          <li><a href="index.html">portfolio</a></li>
          <li><a href="about.html">About</a></li>
          <li><a href="contac.html">Contact</a></li>
        </ul>
      </nav>
    </header>
   <section>
    <ul>
      <li>
        <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt="">
      </li>
     </ul>
    </section>
    <footer>
      <p>&copy; 2014 Jodie Faye Wong.</p>
    </footer>
  </body>
</html>

Your image element looks fine, so I'm not sure, unless your folders got messed up accidentally - maybe check to make sure your index.html file and the img folder are both direct children of the top-level folder.

Unrelated, but I noticed that the link to your contact page is missing a letter ("contac.html"), so you can fix that to prevent a broken link later on.

Ye index folder. Duuuuh. Thanks for the help
