PHP Enhancing a Simple PHP Application Adding Search: Controller & View Escaping Output Review

Trouble with improving PHP search

I'm stuck on this code challenge for adding search. It keeps telling me to add a "value" attribute to the input field. The object of the challenge is to retain the search term in the input field after a search is made. Not only did I add a value attribute, I added the PHP code I thought was correct. I put it into my text editor and tested it on my MAMP website, and it works there. But, for some reason, the console won't accept this answer.

I did and it still gave me the same message. I figured out that it actually wanted me to call the variable that stored $_GET["s"].

It keeps telling me to add a "value" attribute to the input field.

Have you tried submitting this without the php code?
