Trying to get form input buttons to display on the same line

Trying to get two form input buttons to display on the same line

 <div>
                <form action="/app/nd" method="GET">
                    <input type="submit" class="display" value="Display RFP">
                </form>

                <form action="/app/nb" method="GET">
                    <input type="submit" class="battery" value="Battery RFP">
                </form>
                </div>
.display,
.battery {
    display: inline-block;
}

div {
    text-align: center;

}

Set them both to inline block. But one just sits on top of the other. What gives?

Problem solved. Added the display and battery class to the form tags rather than the inputs. Ignore this.

Default display for a form element is block, so you'd have to change the display value on that instead of the buttons.
