iOS Swift Functions and Optionals Parameters and Tuples Tuples

Tuples Test Step 2

I'm not sure how to assign the tuple to result. I give the function greeting its value "Tom" but I'm not sure what else it needs?

tuples.swift 
func greeting(person: String) -> (language: String, greeting: String) {

    let language = "English"
    let greeting = "Hello \(person)"

    return (language: language, greeting: greeting)
}

var result = language(greeting("Tom")

Hey Orhan Basak,

You're close! We just have to fix your return statement in the function body and how you're calling the greeting function.

func greeting(person: String) -> (language: String, greeting: String) {

    let language = "English"
    let greeting = "Hello \(person)"

   /* You already named the tuple components in the return of your function,
   you don't need to name them again here */
    return (language, greeting)
}
/* You only need to pass in a String as an argument here. 
The greeting function only takes one argument,
of type String. Language is a constant defined inside the function. 
We don't need to label it here. */
var result = greeting("Tom")
