Two domains on one

HI,

Im having a blog but its on .co.uk and i know that .com is the best for it, so i was thinking, if i buy second domain, exactly the same, and somebody writes e.g .com or co.uk, and it will go to my site , would that as well improve searching?

It wouldn't hurt, specially if it is a keyword phrase domain. If someone was to buy the .com before you then you would have to compete against that other domain and Google is known to prefer .com over most extensions.

If i buyt it, if its still aviable, .com should be my main? since im going to freelance , i bough co.uk so i have better research but now i did include blog as well so im thinking to get .com as well .

Where should i direct the domain to ? if sm1 types .co.uk i shoudl re-direct them to .com ? the best way?

If the .com is still available I would make that your primary and forward the .uk domain to it. .com is the most common domain available and when users search the web for companies(specifically here in the the States), they expect to be .com domains.

I hope this helps.

Ah, okay. Thank you both for reply ! :)

Yes you can do two domain names.

You can do host mask. To redirect the other domain to the website. But you can switch out the domains with cpanel under addon domain section. But for the redirect you go into the domain list section and go to redirect. You can do a unmask redirect or mask redirect. You can talk your webhosting company about it or the domain server company.

Okay, thank you ! :) i will have a look in few hours about it :)
