UI / UX course on navigation?

To me, one of the hardest non-programming things to do is to create site navigation. It has to be easily understandable, function well, be large enough but not too large, responsive, adapt to changes in your sites content, and look good while doing it.

Add in all the different types of navigation one could do, and you have yourself a project of it's own

I could see this maybe being enough material for at least a chapter in the UI / UX course.

Hey Kevin,

I think that is an amazing idea. I personally think one of the most important parts of a website is navigation. I think that students will definetly benefit from a class like this. I will pass on this idea to the teaching team.

+1. Would love to see a course (or maybe more) on this.

Sweet, glad it's not just me that thinks this is big enough to be it's own stand alone course type lesson. I'd love to get into the nitty gritty of the "F" shape a user eyes read the page, how to decide among nav and sub nav options, best practices for what gets padding, margin, floats, etc, and how to tie it together with JS and media queries to make it responsive.
