NSString *color = @"Purple";
NSString *preference = @"My favorite color is ";
NSString *favorite = [color stringByAppendingString:preference];

Courses Plus Student 44,108 PointsThe stringByAppendingString: method appends the parameter NSString to the NSString the method was called on.
You're not appending the strings in the correct order. You're appending preference to color and that results in "PurpleMy favorite color is ".

Courses Plus Student 29,439 PointsYou should append the string the other way around...
NSString *color = @"Purple";
NSString *preference = @"My favorite color is ";
NSString *favorite = [preference stringByAppendingString:color];
