Unable to do run conditional in JS

var answer = prompt('What is the best programming language?'); if (answer toUpperCase=== 'Ruby')

{ alert("you are correct"

var answer = prompt('What is the best programming language?'); if ( answer toUpperCase === ('Ruby'){ alert('you are correct')}

what is wrong? please help

Hi Benoit,

it's already looking good. But if you use the toUpperCase function you have to write -- answer.toUpperCase() - here you forgot the dot after answer.

if ( answer.toUpperCase() === 'RUBY')

If you use toUpperCase you write your entire input string capital, so your answer string must also be capital for the condition to be true.
