Python Development Techdegree Student 4,068 PointsUnable to input GitHub password text after 'git push origin master' step.
So at the 'git push origin master' point in the video, I'm able to input my GitHub username information with no problem. But after I hit enter, and the password field is available, nothing I type shows up. The only error that displays is:
remote: Invalid username or password.
fatal: Authentication failed
I've checked my username and password credentials to make sure I was entering at least my info correctly. Once I get to the password, no text that I type shows up and the cursor doesn't move.
I've Googled similar topics and the closest solutions I find will have the same error message but not the same issue as keyboard strokes not showing up for the password only. I'm not able to isolate where this error is coming from. Any ideas, please? Thanks in advance!

13,302 PointsWhen you're entering a password on the command line interface and there is a password prompt, your keystrokes will not show up, and that is by design. Your keyboard strokes do register on the terminal, you just cannot see it. If you type your password correctly though upon the prompt and hit enter, it should still authenticate you.
