Unable to load ios simulators Xcode 6

I seem to be having trouble getting any of my older applications to run on the simulator ever since I've updated to Xcode 6.

My code compiles just fine but it seems like the simulators may not be installed.

I've already tried reinstalling Xcode and restarting my computer but nothing seems to be working properly.

Could anyone make any suggestions?

I solved this by updating to the latest version of OSX. seems like the new version of xcode 6 worked fine but the simulators didnt.

Hi. Select in Xcode: Xcode > Open Developer Tool > iOS Simulator and then in the simulator window Hardware > Manage Devices. You can recreate your simulators there. Also make sure you have selected Xcode 6.x in Xcode > Preferences > Locations > Command Line Tools.

Thanks Pavel,

I had already tried removing and recreating my simulators.

Im still having trouble having any application or project to boot in any of the simulators.

Here the output for the error: An error was encountered while running (Domain = DTiPhoneSimulatorErrorDomain, Code = 2)

And what about Command Line Tools setting? I you have just changed it, you need to reboot your Mac.

It has always been preset on Xcode 6.x since I've reinstalled it.

Ive already rebooted my Mac several times..

Have you also tried to Reset Content and Settings... in iOS Simulator menu? You can try to Product > Clean in Xcode before building.
