Game Development How to Make a Video Game Score, Enemies, and Game State Add the Score Counter UI

Unity 5 Canvas is enormous and uneditable

I'm using Unity 5.0 When adding a Text element and implementing it as "Screen-Space Overlay" it becomes enormous and the scale is not editable. Unless I make it world space, I can't modify the scale.

Wondering how to go about fixing this.

Update- followed the tutorial again but this time with the Game View selected (instead of Scene View). The video steps worked out entirely now ^_^; A little confused but that's what happens as a beginner I suppose.

Hey Wesley!

That can definitely confuse students, I agree! Anyhow, glad you got the problem sorted :)
