Update tutorial of the My Movie API?

I found this tutorial: http://blog.teamtreehouse.com/coding-a-dynamic-imdb-webapp-using-my-movie-api

And I'd love to follow it, but the API is no longer available. I found a similar one: http://www.omdbapi.com/

But I am a newbie and don't really know how to use it! Could there be a new post or something, or even just an update, to help please?

We don't have any plans to update that tutorial, but please feel free to ask questions here on the forum if you run into issues as you try to use the other service.
