Use jQuery's html() method to insert the server response into the footer of the page.

i dont know y it isnt working

app.js
$.get("footer.html",function(data){ $("#footer").html(footer.html); });
index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
  <meta charset="utf-8">
  <title>AJAX with JavaScript</title>
</head>
<body>
  <div id="main">
    <h1>AJAX with jQuery</h1>
  </div>
  <div id="footer"></div>
  <script src="jquery.js"></script>
  <script src="app.js"></script>
</body>
</html>

You're really close! But the server response isn't the name of the file you are loading. It's the parameter that you created to catch it in step 1, and you named it yourself: "data".
