2,671 Pointsuseful extensions for chrome?
Hey guys,
I'm switching back from firefox to chrome, since the developer tools are better. While checking out the chrome web store, I noticed some of my extensions I've used with firefox aren't available for chrome like adblock edge for example.
So I thought I ask you which extensions for chrome you use and like. So tell me :D

I really like the Web Developer extension for Chrome. It adds a ton of options for testing! You really have to check it out: http://chrispederick.com/work/web-developer/

18,374 PointsI use:
1.- The in-built chrome inspector, which used to be inferior to firefox's firebug but has since surpassed it in features and speed. (Partly due to the fact that Firefox has become a horribly slugish, unresponsive program, unlike chrome which is lightning fast, even if your computer is powerful. If it is not, the firefox is even worse.)
Perfect for css+html tweaks on the go when developing sites Very useful to analyze/debug js/jquery scripts causing you trouble
2.- Chrome Adblock
No more annoying ads 99% of the time. Faster than anything Firefox had, free, easy to use, etc.
3.- Windows resizer, suggested in one of the TTT videos by Allison Grayce if I recall correctly. Resize your chrome window and you get a little tab with width/height values for window and viewport in the bottom right corner of the screen.
4.- The 'responsive virtualizer' tool within the chrome inspector to superficially test what your site will look like in any resolution, even if yours is smaller (the mobile icon next to the looking glass).
Cheers

15,719 Points+1 to everything, except Adblock. It robs advertising revenue from businesses. Every time you let Adblock run on a page, you take money out of someone's pocket. It's not supposed to block non-invasive advertisements, but it does so constantly. Adblock has caused so many problems for me when even interacting with legitimate websites trying to input information or get to one of their pages that it was best for me to keep it off of any of my browsers until it has a better algorithm for dealing with invasive advertisements. Sorry for the rant, but I really hate adblock, if you couldn't tell lol

16,936 PointsFor Privacy. I use Ghostery. You can choose what services you allow to run. becareful tho not allowing certain services can effect websites from working correctly.
For development i use the following. ColorZilla For an easy color picker and website color analyzer. Live CSS Editor for those times when you want to test CSS before placing it in your files. Short URL This is great for when you are looking for an image to use for a website but don't want to clutter your code with a long http address.
Hope this helps.
